How Brandon Card rigs his 2015 Triton boat for the Bassmaster Elite Series

2015 will be my fourth year on the Bassmaster Elite Series, and every year around this time, I receive an awesome Christmas present: a Triton bass boat! It’s a fun time because I have a new “toy”, but also a busy time because I have to transform this new “toy” into a “bass catching machine.” Every year I learn new ways to trick out my boat. All the equipment on my Triton serves a valuable purpose and I try to think of everything that I will need during a tournament situations. I’m working on rigging my 2015 Triton 21TrX now, and the following is what I am doing to it.

Motor and Jack Plate

The power behind my 21TrX is a Suzuki 250SS matte black edition. This four-stroke engine is extremely durable and dependable. It’s also very fuel efficient and fast, pushing my tournament-loaded boat into the mid-70s. The Suzuki’s lower units are geared differently than most, which allows me to turn a pretty large propeller. A 28 pitch, four blade Suzuki prop gives me maximum performance and handling.
